The Office for Diversity and Community Partnership is dedicated to providing opportunities for students of all levels to interact with, and learn from, members of the Harvard Medical community. And there are many ways for you to help! Please take a moment to look at the Outreach Opportunities form and let us know how you would like to assist in our many outreach programs.

 

BE A MENTOR
I am interested in:
Having a middle school student shadow me for a half day
Working with a middle school student during after-school hours
Working with a high school student during after-school hours
Working with a high school student during the summer
Working with a college student during the summer
Being an advisor to a student (high school to post-doc level) at a student biomedical careers symposium
BE A JUDGE OR REVIEWER
I am interested in:
Being a judge at a school science fair
Scoring student research abstracts and papers for an HMS-sponsored high school research conference
Judging student oral presentations at a high school research conference
BE A SPEAKER
I am interested in:
Presenting science information/research to middle/high school students involved in HMS-sponsored programs
Presenting science information/research to middle/high school teachers as part of an HMS teacher's program
Presenting science information/research to middle/high school students and science teachers in their classrooms
Speaking to community organizations
DONATE EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS

Donating equipment/materials to middle/high school science classrooms
