EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS

HEALTH PROFESSIONS RECRUITMENT AND EXPOSURE PROGRAM (HPREP)

The aim of HPREP is to provide exposure and academic support to students in grades 9-12 interested in pursuing a career in the health professions. In this program students are exposed to physicians, medical students, and other health care professionals from underrepresented groups. AP Biology Hinton Scholars participants and alumni of MFS-8, MFS-9, MFS-10 and PRISM are encouraged to apply to the program that meets for 7 Saturdays from December to February on the Harvard Medical School campus. This program is co-sponsored by the HMS Chapter of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) and open to students from Boston and surrounding communities.
