Participants
All 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade students who live in Boston and Cambridge or attend Boston or Cambridge schools, organizations, after school programs, community programs, or religious institutions.

Painting, Sketches, Photography, Collage, Drawing, Poetry, Essay, Short Stories, Skits/Plays, Spoken Word, Dance/Step, Song/Rap

Themes
Heart, lung, and blood diseases, sleeping disorders, oral health, urban health issues, and health disparities

Prizes
Contest winners receive cash prizes, pizza parties, or gift certificates!

Celebration/Event
All contest entrants are invited to attend the Reflection in Action celebration on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Harvard Medical School. All entrants must be accompanied by a teacher, parent or chaperone.

First-place contest winners in the performance category will be invited to perform for the entire audience. Winning visual arts entries will be displayed, and all contest entrants will be recognized.
